My name is Mindy Tabakin and I am a journalism student at Metropolitan State University. I have a previous degree in psychology from a combination of coursework at Northwestern University and Webster University.
My hope is to be able to combine my two degrees to promote mental health awareness and parity on a more “macro” level than what I was able to do working one on one with clients.
This blog will explore how to reach the intended audiences needed to help spread and destigmatize the awareness that is so desperately needed.
