About Mental Health Awareness

Mental health carries with it a sense of stigma. There is an idea that struggling with mental health issues or going to therapy is some kind of weakness. It’s not.

Mental health awareness aims to categorize mental health as the true bio-psycho-social struggle that it is. We cannot control our biology or the environment that we grew up in, so it only makes sense that some of us end up dealing with this struggle at some point in our lives.

Mental health awareness aims to reduce stigma, rally for true mental health parity, and to provide resources that are easily accessible to those struggling.
